Moon Garden

Finally some white daffodils for the moon garden. I tried to get these on last week but the pictures weren't loading right.

I've been real busy at the hospital so I haven't much time to garden. My mom was sick and then we had 2 babies on the same day:)

Everything is finally starting to calm down. Until next week;)

They're both gorgeous, Beverly - both the white trumpet and the one in the second photo. That one looks like the scented 'Thalia' daffodil. My long-ago moon garden had other colors in spring - I'm impressed that you made even April go with your theme.

Pretty white daffodils! What else do you have planted in your moon garden? I love watching the hummingbird moths that come out at night later in the summer.

A Moon Garden is an enchanting idea! My grandmother had a moon garden. It really was fun to walk through at night and see the ghostly white flowers and smell all those delicious fragrances. Your daffodils are precious!

I hope your mother feels better soon. Sorry to hear she was ill. Congrats on the new babies though.

Regards,
Dawn

What kind of flowers do you have in there besides the daffodils? I've wanted to start a moon garden and I'm looking for ideas. Thanks.

I don't remember seeing daffodils that were so white. They are almost pure white, just beautiful.

I have been thinking of getting white narcissus and I think you have convinced me.

Dawn: Thank you:) my mom is doing better she is home now and got herself a kitten to go with her dog.

Iowa gardening woman: I just plant anything that has white flowers or silvery leaves. There are daisies, carnations, dianthas, lambs ear, varigated sage, varigated hostas, snow in summer, phlox, silver mound artemesia and other things as they come and go.

Wicked Gardener: I don't know what kind of perennials grow well in Florida. But getting some white flowered annuals and silvery grasses and foilage would be a good start. This is my moon gardens second year.
